What is PechaKucha 20x20?

PechaKucha 20x20 is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images.
 
 
 
PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps -- just about anything, really - in the PechaKucha 20x20 format. "Powered by PechaKucha" events are one-off events (separate from regular city-based PechaKucha Nights)
 

We believe there is nothing social about online social networks, so get out from behind your screen and get to a live event, with real people, real communication, real beer, and real creative fun. So in a sense, we are in fact a “real” social network.


Drew Taylour-Davis

Drew Taylour-Davis formed Future Proof Films in 2015, alongside two fellow creative friends, with the aim of creating visually engaging video content for companies, brands and organisations throughout the UK and the rest of the world. Four years on and Future Proof Films has created work for three continents; delivered videos to clients from Microsoft and Sainsbury's to local charities and SMEs; and helped companies of all sizes grow through engaging visual marketing content.


Ben Spillar

Ben is artistic director of 1623 theatre company, which is all about giving voices to marginalised people in response to Shakespeare and the world today. Ben is a theatre maker, workshop facilitator and Shakespeare dramaturg/consultant. They are a big fan of kindness.


Debbie Doodah

Debbiedooodah works with smart creative entrepreneurs who want to learn the tools to market themselves online. Quite simply Debbie helps creative business owners make more money. 

She's one of the top 100 female entrepreneurs for 2019, one of the top 50 twitter influencers in the world for gender equality and recently been named a Nottingham legend!

She also runs the Blue Stockings Society for female entrepreneurs, the Indie Freedom Seekers Academy, podcasts at Women who Create, co-authored the #mybusinessmyway toolkit for female entrepreneurs and lectures at Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University on digital marketing!

Why does she do this? She loves seeing people thrive, create their dream businesses and never have to work for the ‘man’ again! She's been doing it since 2013!

Jonny Prest

Innovative. Intuitive. Unconventional.

Seed's Creative Director, Jon Prest (AKA Brand Master Flash), prides himself on his work ethic, ballsy approach and sense of humour. What is brand strategy all about? Be useful, be kind. It's that simple.

Jon talks about getting passionate about marketing: work hard to get into the mindset and under the skin of your consumers. Blow past the obvious; snub the cliché and push ideas until they are powerful, meaningful and are at the highest standard reachable.

Jon's approach to business development and marketing is refreshing, fun and built on common sense. Time to break the mould.

Gemma Lovett

I am Gemma Lovett, Creative Lead at WDA Automotive & WDA Marketing. I have been involved in the creative industry for over 18 years. For those who know me and those who don't, I speak with passion, enthusiasm and belief about all things creative.

Claire Zwozny- Bestwick

After teaching art, craft and design since 1998, it was time for a change in direction and when the opportunity came, I made a decision to grasp the chance and start my very own business making alternative, quirky items that I have a passion for; which meant reverting to my original love of creating, unique and unusual handmade objects from metal, clay and anything else I can get my hands on!


Lindsey Newman Wood

Lindsey is a Rockstar Mom, Gin Lover and Marketing Consultant (in that order).

A Shropshire Lass, she now lives in Castle Donington with hubby Iain and  two sons Samuel (16 yrs) and Alfie (11 yrs). When she’s not helping folk get better at marketing, she’s supporting her rock star family at local gigs and festivals.

She is known for her no-nonsense, fun and engaging seminars where she gets to be the star of her own show (for a change).


Paul Rose

Paul is often described as the accidental man. He became a teacher, headteacher and now business owner by accident. He is trying to learn on the job as a result.

 

Mak Mulenga

Copywriter,African Prince,Tribal Chief of Magic Mak Media and general troublemaker on Social Media.

He specialises in writing great content for businesses and individuals.

Mak loves cooking,eating great food and dressing in dapper clothing.

He can also be bribed with an Oat Milk Flat White and a Vegan slice of cake! (Make sure it is nut free)
